We'll
bet.......
you’ve
never seen a pager like this, although nearly a half million units are already
in use today. You may not be
familiar with the name Swissphone, but they have been around for nearly forty
years and serve as a primary supplier to the over one million member fire
fighters in Germany as well as operating a nationwide paging network in
Switzerland.
You
may wonder how it stacks up against Minitor IV.
Pretty well actually, with receive sensitivity approximately twice
as good as Motorola. Durability?
It’s MIL-SPEC 810 approved, can operate on the older 25 kHz channels or
the new APCO-25 compliant 12.5 kHz narrow band channels.
The battery life is about twice as long and it uses a single memory free
Nickel Metal-Hydride battery. It is
IP54 certified for protection against dust and water, and it has an LCD
display with battery condition indicator, and simple icons for selection of
audible/vibrate alert, volume, and optional message recall! Otherwise, the differences
are minor…….
Well,
actually there are a few other items of interest like an optional voice memory
feature that can record up to 4 minutes of messages with dynamic cutoff (i.e. it
quits recording when the dispatcher stops talking). As
for the concert quality audio reproduction, you simply have to hear it to
believe it! How about an optional
desk charger with a BNC connector to allow use of an external antenna for
extended range? How about fast
turnaround LOCAL repair, from our facilities right here in Alabama if you ever
have a problem?
We
would like you to try the Responder in your department for a few weeks.
We want you try it out where your existing pagers don’t work well, or
not at all. We want you to see how
long the battery lasts between charges (the more you charge a battery, the
shorter the life). We want you to
experience the features, functionality, and reliability that makes the Responder
totally unique. Additional information on the Responder is available at www.info4u.us/Responder.spc.pdf.
If
you would like to know more about Swissphone, we have a Power Point presentation
at www.info4u.us/VFD_01.ppt.
If you don’t have PowerPoint, get a comparable FREE program by going to
www.OpenOffice.org.
If you like the Responder, we would like to show you how easily you can equip your entire department with Responders. We have some unique financing plans that allow you to get what you need now and we can trade in your old pagers if you want to standardize on the Responder. You can order on line with your purchase secured by credit card for individuals or by 30 day evaluation purchase order for governmental agencies and/or approved accounts.
